Google continues to dominate with a 72.07% share of all US searches conducted in the four weeks ending Dec. 27, 2008. Yahoo Search followed with 17.79%, MSN Search with 5.56% and Ask.com with 3.15%, according to data released by Hitwise (PDF).
Note that while still small, MSN Search has increased its share for the fifth straight month.
The remaining 44 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 1.42 percent of U.S. searches.
